Small Boat Surveys is based in Lancashire and covers Lancashire, Cheshire, Shropshire, West Yorkshire, Merseyside, the Lake District, and North Wales. We will also travel throughout the UK and Europe for special assignments.​
What we do
Pre Purchase, Insurance, Damage and Stray Current Corrosion Surveys on sailing boats, motor cruisers and canal boats up to 24 meters long made from fiberglass, wood, steel and ferro cement.

I'm an experienced UK trained and registered Marine Surveyor who is a member of the International Institute of Marine Surveyors. Our son Chris who works with me had 17 years experience working in the marine industry before joining me

We carry out around 70 surveys a year working for boat owners, boat buyers and Marine Insurance Companies. New boat buyers can join me during the survey
